Print Competition University 101 with Holly Howe

The Basics – Are you hesitant to enter print competition because everybody seems to know stuff about it that you don’t? Does it seem like those old dudes with all the ribbons around their necks are just speaking a foreign language? What does a merit mean? What’s a seal? What do you mean it needs presentation? OR maybe you’ve entered a few years but you just are not getting the results you would like and you need to know more about how to take an ordinary print to a merit level image? This is the class for you. Holly and Keith will walk you through the 12 elements so you really understand what they are and how they work together. They’ll teach you the competition language so you will understand what’s the difference between IPC and district and what it means if it’s booked. Plus they will share with you the kinds of artwork or enhancements that elevate your images. The Howe’s will take the fear out of competition and help you feel prepared to enter. Everybody likes recognition and awards and we want to help you earn some of that for yourself.
